Nursery (Birth - 2 year olds)
Purpose Statement:
“The purpose of the St. Louis COC nursery is to minister to families by providing SAFE and CARING environment for their children from birth to age two or so.”
Nursery is offered Sunday mornings from 9:00-11:30am
Beverly Apps serves as the Nursery Coordinator.
Toddler Sunday School (2 year olds - Kindergarten)
Purpose Statement:
“To CARE for each child, as we BUILD within them a foundation to make Jesus Christ their Lord & Savior, TEACHING them to live according to the standards that are in God’s Word.”
Toddler Sunday school classes held Sunday mornings from 9:00-11:30am

Jr. Worship (1st – 4th grade)
Purpose Statement:
“To provide and opportunity to learn about and experience worship to the Lord God and Jesus Christ.”
Goals:
· Offer time for praise, prayer, communion, scripture and offering each week.
· Increase student’s understanding of each of these aspects of worship.
· Inspire and attitude of worship as a daily practice and lifestyle.
· Build relationships that model and encourage worship as a lifestyle.
Jr. Worship is held Sunday mornings from 10:30-11:30am
“W.O.W.” (2 year olds – 5 year olds)
Purpose Statement:
“To teach young children about Jesus and His promises for them as they grow.”
World of Wonders is held Sunday nights from 6-7pm, September -May
Discovery Clubs (1st – 5th grade)
Purpose Statement:
“Discovery Clubs exists to train our children to DISCOVER the truths about God, His Word, and the Lifestyle He expects from all His children.”
Goals:
- To Discover God and His role in our lives
- To Emphasize the importance of studying God’s Word
- To Facilitate an atmosphere where relationships are fostered
- To Model a lifestyle of personal worship
- To Offer an opportunity for all participants to learn the social skills that will allow them to be “lights in the world.”
Discovery Clubs is held Sunday nights from 6-7pm, September -May
Children’s Ministry Volunteer Staff:
Volunteer children’s staffs are adults that have a desire and passion to encourage students to grow in their spiritual walks as they too continue to grow in their faith. Volunteer staff are involved in the teaching, training, and discipleship of the students involved in this ministry. Those seeking to become part of the Volunteer Children’s Staff should contact the Youth Minister by calling the office at 989.681.4230.
Monthly meetings – 2nd Monday of each month starting at 7:00pm in the Church Library
